2025 Photo Contest Rules

The Delaware Rural Water Association invites you to send us your best water photos!

Categories are:

Water in Delaware – Highlight the beauty of water in Delaware with streams, landscapes, lakes, what the heck, we’ll even take tax ditches!

Waterworks – Or should we say Water Works?! Utilities at work, infrastructure, or rural water people in action. Use your imagination! Be funny or serious, hard-working or light-hearted, just keep it clean and family-friendly!

Photos can be black and white or color, or somewhere in between.
Hand-delivered submissions should not be smaller than 8x10 inches.
Any photos of people must be accompanied by consent or release of each photographed individual.

Prizes:

Winning photos will be proudly displayed at DRWA HQ in Milford on the Hall of Fame.
First place is $50, second place is $25 cash for each category.
Your photo-taking skills will be forever remembered in DRWA history!

Who determines the winner?

Photos will be displayed during our Expo on October 3, 2025 and will be awarded via popular vote/drop box. Winners will be announced by the end of the event.

Deadline:

All submissions must reach us either by physical drop-off or in digital format by September 15, 2025. Digital submissions must not be smaller than 300 ppi.

Originality:

Please don’t photoshop, copy, or in any way re-manufacture, re-create, or edit someone else’s work.

Eligibility:

Anyone affiliated with Rural Water can enter except DRWA staff, board, and their immediate families.

Photos that infringe upon others’ rights, in any way, suggest nudity, obscenity, or violence will be disqualified.
