VIRTUAL CLASS/ HYBRID CLASS- Attendees can come to DRWA to participate or join online.
This session provides a comprehensive look at water treatment process optimization, benchmarking, and real-world case studies. It covers the principles, tools, and best practices for optimizing treatment processes, from source water withdrawals to filtration, with detailed guidance on chemical application, energy efficiency, and cost reduction. The deck also explores benchmarking metrics, gap analysis methods, and building business cases for operational improvements. Multiple case studies—spanning municipal drinking water and wastewater systems—demonstrate how these strategies lead to measurable gains in water quality, regulatory compliance, and operational savings.
