Class B Designer Certification Prep Course

Wastewater: 3.0 Hours - Direct

Waste Class A, B, C, D, E, F, H & I: 3.0 Hours

Fee Based: $115.00

This course prepares you to take the Class B license exam. Subjects covered include: regulatory requirements, wastewater definitions; system permitting requirements; and gravity system design requirements.

Objectives: As a result of this training students will be able to:

• Describe the design principles of conventional onsite wastewater treatment and disposal systems.
• Identify components needed in creating a gravity permit.
• Calculate disposal system size requirements for trench and bed systems.
• Size septic tanks.
• Identify regulatory requirements
   when completing a design.

DRWA Cancellation and Refund Policy 
Effective October 1, 2024

If attendees do not attend class on their own accord, no refunds will be issued. Attendees will receive that dollar amount in credit only to be used within six months from the issue date. Full refunds or credits will be issued only when attendees have provided three days advance notice of their anticipated non-attendance. If DRWA cancels or reschedules a course, attendees can request a full refund or full dollar amount credit to be used within six months from the issue date.

Extenuating circumstances may be discussed with the Executive Director.
