The Chemistry of Water: Foundations, Properties, and Applications in Treatment
Water- TBD: 3 Hours
FREE COURSE
This interactive 3-hour course explores the chemistry of water, from its atomic structure to the unique physical and chemical properties that make it essential for life and water treatment processes. Participants will examine how water behaves as a solvent, reacts in acid–base systems, and impacts treatment outcomes such as pH control, flocculation, and disinfection. Through discussion and applied examples, attendees will connect water chemistry concepts to real-world challenges in drinking water and wastewater systems.
This course is designed for operators, technicians, and environmental professionals seeking to strengthen their knowledge of water chemistry and its practical applications in the field.
